Johannesburg, South Africa

We arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa today and stayed at a lovely little bed and breakfast, the Outlook Lodge. From what we’ve heard, Johannesburg is a large city of about 10 million people. It is certainly industrialized complete with orderly traffic and is much like any American city in appearance. We saw a mix of both extreme poverty and wealth. The people were very friendly and hospitable. Breakfasts at the lodge were made to order. We also enjoyed some nice dinners while we were there. We enjoyed relaxing and catching up on some rest during our stay.
